Re: The good, the bad and the ugly of my installs

Chuckles, "Eh, most aren't problems in the strictest sense or aren't completely KiboJoe issues. The trackpad issue on the lap top for example has shown up on other distros, hence me not being worked up about it. Solving it is a little trickier here, but it's a minor issue. Volume, once again, see on...

Re: The good, the bad and the ugly of my installs

Yep, already using it, couldn't remember ifn it was there, or I'd installed it. Ifn the latter, I figured it might've been left out because of the size. Be nice if someone made a smaller platform agnostic volume control like this, but just the application volume and nothing else. I'll update this th...

Sorta solved it, sorta not. The problem was that when I tried to use my playlist, it couldn't find any of the music. While I have sorted out the problems so that I can re-import and play my music, I have lost the use of my old playlists which is annoying.

Re: I've got a beef to share with you...

hello @Javarod thanks for indication! it might be interesting to give an example of how to do... vlw fwi, Holmes :) The basics is easy, just select Design Mode in the View Menu. However, that doesn't come with any instruction, so if you want more than a basic feature replace, it's a lot of trial an...

Re: The good, the bad and the ugly of my installs

I'm going to be lazy and not bother with quotes this time... Minimize, yep, know of the options, it's just that having used Macs off and on since 84, I'm used to their double click title bar=minimize. On other DEs like Xfce you can set that behavior in the Windows control panel. As we have less poin...

[Tip] I've got a beef to share with you...

DeaDBeeF that is. For those of you that don't know it, DeaDBeeF is very customizable, especially ifn you grab some of the plug ins from the AUR (don't bother with the VU meter, it fails, and doing it manually doesn't work right either). I tweaked the look this time, and I might keep it. https://thum...

The good, the bad and the ugly of my installs

Ok, not sure this fits here, but not sure it fits anywhere on this forum. So, installed this on both of my computers, and while usable, they both have issues. Laptop• Near perfect on this, only missing vertical scrolling on my track pad. Not the first time I've seen this, it happened to me on Manjar...

Found my way here...

...I guess Holmes didn't hide it well enough. Found my way to KiboJoe via Manjaro, and enjoying it. Installed it on both my laptop and desktop, and while it's got some rough edges right now, it is usable, and I'll sort those out when I have time, along with posting a thread about my issues. As...
